- had an impact contest in season opener against Tarleton State at the Lone Star Football Festival at AT&T Stadium with six tackles, including his one tackle for loss.
- tallied four stops in MSU's Comcast SportsNet Houston regionally televised win against Texas A&M-Kingsville.
