Junior (2013)
- played in five games at offensive tackle for the Mustangs.
- part of the offensive line that pushed MSU to leading the Lone Star Conference and ranking 10th in NCAA Division II in rushing with 261.9 yards per game.
- helped the MSU line rank second in the LSC and 36th nationally by allowing only 1.30 quarterback sacks a game (13 total).
- part of the Mustangs top two rushing games of the season, 476 yards against McMurry and 412 yards against Menlo (Calif.).

At Tyler Junior College

Sophomore (2012)
- selected second-team All-Southwest Junior Collge Football Conference for coach Danny Palmer at Tyler JC.
- started all 10 games in the offensive line.
- key blocker on team that led the SWJCFC and was second in the NJCAA in total offense with 548.1 yards a game.

Freshman (2011)
- started on the offensive line for the Apaches.
- helped team rank 21st in NJCAA by averaging 391.5 yards a game.
- helped TJC reach the SWJCFC championship game with a 37-34 overtime win over No. 1 Blinn JC.


At Honey Grove High School

- a two-time first-team all-district lineman for coach Sammy Burnett at Honey Grove.
- named first-team All-District 6-A Division I as a senior and first-team All-District 11-2A as a junior, both on the offensive line.
- three-time selection to The Paris News All-Red River Valley team.
- was the Pitcher of the Year in District 17-A as a senior in baseball.
- also chosen honorable mention All-District 17-A in basketball as a senior.
