At Midwestern State

Senior (2010)

  • served as the Mustangs primary catcher, starting 56 games behind the plate.
  • became MSU's second first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All American by carrying a 4.00 grade-point average in psychology.
  • hit .348 with eight doubles, five homers and a team leading 49 RBIs.
  • top RBI producer hit .440 (33-for-75) with runners in scoring position.
  • batted .425 (17-for-40) with two doubles, a homer and 17 RBIs during career-best 14-game hitting streak from March 26-April 7, 2010.
  • drove in a run in eight-straight games from April 6-20, 2010.
  • recorded an RBI in 15 of 22 LSC North Division games to lead all LSC hitters with 23 RBIs during division play.
  • notched 11 multiple-hit games and drove in 2-or-more runs eight times.
  • named to LSC Championships All-Tournament Team after hitting .364 (4-for-11) which included a three-run home run in a 3-0 win over No. 11 West Texas A&M on May 7, 2010.
  • hit .444 (4-for-9) with a double and three RBIs while helping MSU to wins over St. Mary's, Nebraska-Omaha and West Texas A&M in the NCAA II South Central Sub-Regionals at Mustangs Park on May 15 and 16.
  • named LSC North Hitter of the Week after going 4-for-6 with a homer and five RBIs in a doubleheader sweep at Southeastern Oklahoma State during the week of April 20, 2010.

  • hit .550 (11-for-20) with four doubles and a homer and four RBIs during a season-best six-game hitting streak from March 10 to March 17, 2009.
  • hit .533 (8-for-15) during a five-game hitting streak from March 3-7, 2009 and .538 (7-for-13) during another five-game streak from April 11-22, 2009.
  • recorded 10 multiple-hit games and knocked in two-or-more runs six times.
  • tied school record three doubles against Central Oklahoma on March 10, 2009.

Sophomore (2008)

  • served as MSU's primary designate hitter.
  • hit .238 with three doubles and three home runs with 24 RBIs.
  • recorded seven multiple-hit games including three three-hit contests.
  • hit first career grand slam against Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.) on Feb. 22, 2008.

  • 2008 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

Freshman (2007)

  • hit .358 over 53 at bats in 36 games while playing first base, second base and third base.
  • was MSU’s top bat off of the bench connecting for seven hits in 15 pinch hit opportunities for a .467 average.
  • homered in consecutive at bats against Washburn on March 2 and Oklahoma Panhandle State on March 3, 2007.
  • recorded two hits on three occasions.

At Frisco High School

  • three-year starter for coach Max Bledsoe at Frisco (Texas) High School where she helped the Coons to a Region I-4A semifinal appearance in 2005 and a Region I-4A quarterfinal showing in 2006.
  • earned first-team all-district honors as a first baseman her junior season then repeated the honor as a catcher as a senior.
  • led FHS to a District 6-4A title in 2006.

Lauren, a psychology major and sociology minor, is the daughter of Brent and Caterina Craig of McKinney, Texas… she was born July 23, 1988…
