Sophomore (2012)
- played in six games as a reserve in the secondary.
- recorded 10 tackles, five unassisted, with 3.0 tackles for loss (-15 yards) and 1.5 quarterback sacks (-9 yards).
- picked up six of his tackles against Eastern New Mexico.
- had 1.5 tackles for loss of seven yards including a sack for -6 yards against Eastern.
- also tallied 1.5 tackles for loss of eight yards with a half sack for three against Texas A&M-Commerce in the nationally televised game at Cowboys Stadium.
- returned a kickoff against Eastern New Mexico for 12 yards.

Redshirt Freshman (2011)

-single-year starter at defensive back for coach Neal LaHue at Roosevelt High School in San Antonio, Texas.
-finished senior campaign of 2009 with 81 tackles, three pass breakups, a forced fumble and a recovery while helping the Rough Riders to a Class 5A Division I postseason appearance.
-a three-year letter winner competing in the 200-meter run as well as the 4x100- and 4x200-meter relays in track & field.
