Senior (2013)
- played in the first eight games of the season, starting two for the Mustangs at free safety before an injury kept him from the last two games of the season.
- tied for 10th on the team in total tackles with 25 (14 solo), with one tackle for loss of a yard.
- grabbed his only interception of the season with a 15-yard return against Menlo (Calif.) that set up a Mustangs touchdown.
- collected a career-high nine tackles with six unassisted stops and his only TFL of the season at Angelo State.

Redshirt Junior (2012)
- did not play football.

Junior (2011)
-played in all 11 games for the Mustangs in the secondary.
-selected as an honorable mention All-Lone Star Conference at safety.
-recorded 27 total tackles for MSU with 18 solo stops with 1.0 tackle for a loss (-3 yards) and 0.5 quarterback sacks (-2 yards).
-second on the team with seven pass defenses that included six pass breakups and an interception.
-Only pass interception of the season came against Abilene Christian's Mitchell Gale at the MSU 17 in the first quarter of a 7-7 game that the Mustangs eventually won 70-28.


At Mount San Antonio College

Sophomore (2010)
-appeared in 11 games at defensive back.
-ranked seventh on team with 41 tackles including 24 solo stops and a tackle for loss with three interceptions and three pass breakups.
-helped Mounties to a perfect 13-0 record and a fourth consecutive California Community College Athletic Association state championship.
-had season-best 11 tackles against Palomar on Oct. 16, 2010.
-returned an interception for 25 yards and made seven tackles at Saddleback on Oct. 30, 2010.
-also posted interceptions against Fullerton on Nov. 6, 2010 and City College of San Francisco on Dec. 11, 2010.


At Compton High School

-enjoyed stellar prep career as a standout quarterback and defensive back for coach Calvin Bryant at Compton (Calif.) High School.
-received recruiting interest from Arizona State, Arizona, Boise State, Mississippi and Oregon State.
