- earned four letters while starting three seasons at defender for coaches Kenny Catney and Albaro Lopez at Rider High School.
- earned all-district honors in each of his four prep seasons while being named all-region in his final three seasons and was District Defensive MVP as a junior and senior.
- scored six goals and added 10 assists to earn all-state honors as junior while helping the Raiders to a perfect 23-0 record and the 2007 Texas Class 4A state championship.
- nothed six goals and 12 assists while helping RHS to a 26-0-2 mark and a state final appearance as a sophomore.
