Biography

At Midwestern State

Junior (2010)
  • played in nine games while making three starts at running back.
  • led team in rushing with 598 yards on 112 carries and nine touchdowns.
  • ranked 82nd in NCAA Division II and sixth in the LSC with 66.44 rushing yards per game.
  • rushed for touchdowns in six games and scored twice on three occasions.
  • ran for a season-high 149 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns in a 28-8 win over Northeastern State on Nov. 13, 2010.
  • ran for 86 yards on 17 carries with a TD at Abilene Christian on Oct. 9, 2010.

  • broke redshirt in sixth game of season and rushed for season-high 25 yards on seven carries including a long rush of 18 yards.
  • made first career start at Texas A&M-Kingsville on Oct. 18, 2008.
  • scored first collegiate touchdown against Tarleton State on Oct. 11, 2008 at Memorial Stadium.

  • earned first-team all-district honors in 2006 and 2007 as a four-year starter for coach Ray Zepeda at Galena Park High School.
  • helped the Yellowjackets to a district championship in 2004.
  • widely considered to be a Division 1 prospect before being sidelined in Galena Park's seventh game of the season.
  • led the Greater Houston area with 1,053 yards in 124 carries with 14 touchdowns.
