At Horn High School
a three-year letter winner and two-year starter at safety for coach Mike Overton at John Horn High School in Mesquite, Texas... earned All-District 11-6A second-team honors at safety making 93 tackles including 64 solo stops and four tackles for loss to go with an interception, a team-best seven pass defenses, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery... part of a great season turnaround as Jaguars overcame an 0-7 start to advance to the third round of the UIL Texas Class 6A Division II playoffs in 2018... earned All-District 11-6A second-team honors at safety as a junior in 2017 finishing the campaign with 71 tackles including 55 solo stops with two interceptions and a forced fumble to help Horn High to the UIL Class 6A Division II regional round... helped Jaguars to the UIL playoffs in his first varsity campaign as a sophomore in 2016... also played basketball at HHS and competed in the long, triple and high jumps as well as the 400-meter dash in track & field...
