Midwestern State is ready to kick off its conference campaign after finishing 4-1-0 in non-conference matches. MSU played the Sadé Boswell led Missouri Southern Lions in Joplin, Missouri, and suffered its first loss of the season, 1-0. Boswell was a two-year assistant coach at Midwestern State before taking over at Missouri Southern. The Mustangs open up the LSC portion of the schedule on the road at Lubbock Christian on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The Lady Chaps are 2-2-1 with wins over Adams State and New Mexico Highlands. The Stang Gang returns home on Saturday for an 11 a.m. match against UT Tyler, which is 5-0-0 with a plus-20 goal differential.
