Midwestern State pulled out a 1-0 road win at Oklahoma Baptist to improve its record to 4-0-0 at the start of the season. Midwestern State's Nyxalee Munoz converted a free kick from inside the offensive end of half way in the 56th minute as the Mustangs won their first away match of the season. This week, MSU is traveling to Joplin, Missouri, to face Missouri Southern at Hal Bodon Field in a final non-conference clash before beginning its run through the LSC. Madison Brinkley is leads the conference with four goals after scoring twice in a 3-1 victory over Central Oklahoma.
