2023 StangGang Women's Soccer Podcast with Ryan Spence

November 19, 2024
This week's Stang Gang Podcast features an in-depth look at Midwestern State Women's Soccer with head coach Ryan Spence.

Midwestern State is the No. 4 seed in the South Central Regional and is traveling to Golden, Colorado, to meet Colorado Mesa in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Tournament. With a win the Mustangs would face top-seeded Colorado School of Mines in the second round. The Mustangs made their third consecutive appearance in the semifinals of the Lone Star Conference Women's Soccer Championship but fell to Angelo State, 2-0. Junior defender Mable Pruter picked up a red card in the match and is ineligible for the first-round of the NCAA Tournament. Midwestern State is facing the Mavericks for the first time since a 3-0 victory at Stang Park in 2015.
