Midwestern State is coming off a 76-42 win over future LSC member school UT Dallas. The Mustangs shot 47.5 percent and three players scored in double figures. The Comets were held to 28.6 percent shooting from the field and were outscored in the second half, 39-16. Zarria Carter notched her fifth double-double of the season in the win over UT Dallas. Carter finished with 22 points and 18 rebounds. Carter leads the nation among NCAA Division II players with five double-doubles. The Mustangs are on the road to take on Texas Woman's and UT Tyler this week. TWU and UT Tyler are both nationally ranked. The Mustangs are 0-1 in conference play after falling to Lubbock Christian, 87-61, on Nov. 23.
