Midwestern State closed out the non-conference schedule with a 3-1 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville in the LSC Challenge at Payne Athletic Center in Edmond, Oklahoma. Now the Mustangs saddle up for conference competition, which begins with a road trip to Silver City, New Mexico, where Midwestern State is 0-8 in the all-time series. After a match with Sul Ross State on Saturday, the Mustangs have a three-match homestand that begins on Sept. 25 with St. Edward's coming to D.L. Ligon Coliseum. Midwestern State went through the non-conference slate with a 4-6 record, but Radecki gives the Mustangs a decent grade on their performance entering conference play.
