Midwestern State remains unbeaten and has reeled off four consecutive victories after defeating rivals West Texas A&M and St Mary's in non-conference confrontations last week. Through the non-conference portion of the season, the Stangs are 5-0-2 with a 3-0-0 record at home. MSU defeated West Texas A&M, 2-1, as Mere Escobar had a goal and an assist in the triumph. The Mustangs kept their winning streak intact with a 2-0 victory at St. Mary's. Tea Cooper scored his first collegiate goal, and Tristan Adams scored his fifth career goal —his first since Nov 1, 2022 —as goalkeeper Jakob Stone secured his second clean sheet of the season at Sigma Beta Chi Field in San Antonio. The boys are back on the bus to face St. Edward's in the conference opener at Lewis-Chen Family Field in Austin, Texas on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. and return home to face Texas A&M International at Stang Park on Saturday at 6 p.m.
