Midwestern State rebounded from an embarrassing 5-0 loss at St. Edward's with a 5-2 win over Texas A&M International at Stang Park on Saturday night. Mere Escobar scored the third hat trick of his career and has the sixth most goals among NCAA Division II players this season with 10. Escobar also has 54 career goals at MSU and is four shy of tying Alvin Alexander and Kris Henderson for the all-time school record for most goals scored wearing the Maroon & Gold.  The Mustangs are on the road Wednesday for a 5 p.m. match at UT Tyler and return home for a Saturday afternoon fixture against Oklahoma Christian. It's the final Saturday match at Stang Park, and an impressive group of seniors will be recognized for their contributions to the program before the 2 p.m. kickoff.
