Midwestern State defeated Oklahoma Christian, 4-1, to extend its winning streak to three matches. Mere Escobar had a goal and an assist in the victory at Stang Park on Saturday afternoon. Escobar now has 12 goals and five assists for the Mustangs. The senior is second in the nation among NCAA Division II players with 29 points, and he leads the conference in both goals and assists. He is the third-leading goal scorer in the nation.  Jaime Villagomez assisted on a pair of goals in the win over OC. Max Gonzales and Samuele Muroni each scored their fourth goal of the season, and Gabriel Gacovicaj netted his first goal of the campaign on Saturday afternoon. The Mustangs defeated UT Tyler on the road last week, 2-1, as Liam Kervick scored the game-winning goal for the Mustangs in the 88th minute. This week, MSU hosts Dallas Baptist in a midweek match that kicks off at Stang Park on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
