Midwestern State posted a 2-0 win over Lubbock Christian and a 2-1 victory at Eastern New Mexico last week and hosts Lone Star Conference regular season champion St. Mary's in the regular season finale on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. The Mustangs are hoping to nail down the No. 2 seed in the LSC Postseason Tournament and earn a bye into the semifinals. The Mustangs defeated the Rattlers earlier this season in San Antonio, 2-0, in a non-conference match. Senior forward Mere Escobar scored twice in the win over Lubbock Christian and needs one more goal to have sole possession of the school's record for goals scored during a career in Maroon & Gold.
