Midwestern State (6-8, 2-2) fell to 1-2 at home this season as St. Edward's defeated the Mustangs on Friday night, 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-17), and St. Mary's won a four-set decision (25-15, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23) on Saturday afternoon.
Isabella Dickens led MSU with 10 kills against the Hilltoppers and 13 against the Rattlers.
Jaiden Wright had four blocks in both matches for the Mustangs.
Wright leads the team and is fifth in the Lone Star Conference with a hitting percentage of .328, while Dickens is ninth in the league with a .322 hitting percentage. Dickens is 10th in the league with 3.1 kills per set. MSU is hitting .209 as a team, which is sixth in the conference, and the Mustangs are third in the LSC with 13 kills per set.
Midwestern State is fifth in the conference with 11.9 assists per set.
Macy Scheer is sixth in the league with seven assists per set, and Maxime Pheasant is 17th in the LSC with 4.7 assists per set.
The Mustangs are only getting 1.2 blocks per set, which is 18th in the conference. Wright leads the team with 30 blocks, including six solo blocks.
Jenna Redding is 10th in the league with 3.7 digs per set, and she has the 10th most digs in the LSC with 190. Midwestern State is eighth in the league with 15 digs per set.

West Texas A&M (7-8, 2-2) is making its first appearance at D.L. Ligon Coliseum since 2022, and the Lady Buffs are 15-1 when visiting MSU. Six of the last eight meetings have been at WTAMU Fieldhouse, where WT prevailed last year, 3-1 (25-15, 25-13, 21-25, 25-19).
West Texas A&M is in the midst of a four-game road trip that opened with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-22) loss at Dallas Baptist, but the Lady Buffs defeated Texas Woman's on Saturday 3-1 (25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 25-21). The victory at Kitty Magee Arena was the first road win of the season for the Lady Buffs, who are 1-3 in true road matches this season.
Kaycee Cavanaugh leads WT and is 11th in the conference with 3.5 points per set. She averages 3.1 kills per set and is hitting .155 for the Lady Buffs, who are 16th in the conference with a hitting percentage of .162.
Hannah Pemberton is averaging 4.4 assists per set for West Texas A&M, which is 14th in the conference with 10.8 assists per set.
