Midwestern State extended its winning streak to six games on Saturday afternoon with an 8-0 thrashing of Eastern New Mexico at Stang Park and has not conceded a goal this season. With the win, MSU improved to 2-0-0 after opening conference play on the road at UT Permian Basin. Lexi Gonzales, McKynzi Hailey and Sophie Ferro scored goals against the Falcons. Thirteen different players have scored goals for MSU this season, and the Mustangs have scored the fifth-most goals in NCAA Division II this season, and boast the best goal differential in the nation, outscoring their opponents 21-0. MSU looks to extend its home unbeaten streak to 25 games as it hosts Texas A&M International on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
