Midwestern State kicks off the 2026 campaign on the road at Oklahoma Baptist on Thursday night at 7 p.m. The Mustangs are predicted to finish second in the Lone Star Conference according to the 2026 preseason poll following their second straight NCAA postseason appearance last season. The Mustangs finished the 2025 campaign with an overall record of 11-3-6, including a 10-0-4 mark in the LSC. Midwestern State has added depth to a roster that is hungry to compete. The home opener is Sunday at 1 p.m. as Ouachita Baptist visits Stang Park.
