WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Bruno Sanchez and Juan David Duque earned LSC Doubles Team of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks. 

It is the fourth time this season that a Midwestern State pairing won the award. 

Sanchez earned the distinction alongside Cesar Loeches Llamas on March 25, while Germano Setti and Matthew Earle received recognition on March 5.

Sanchez and Duque have a seven-match winning streak after posting victories over Western New Mexico, Sul Ross State and St. Mary's this past week. The pairing finished the regular season with a 10-5 record overall, and they were 7-1 in conference duals.

No. 25-ranked Midwestern State is the No. 4 seed in the LSC Men's Tennis Championship and faces St. Mary's in the quarterfinals at Arlington Tennis Center. First serve is scheduled at noon on Thursday. The winner squares off with top-seeded Lubbock Christian at 1 p.m. on Friday.
