RICHARDSON, Texas --Â The six-team field has been announced for the 2026 Lone Star Conference Women's Tennis Championship, which will be held Thursday, Apr. 30 through Saturday. May 2. Punching its tickets are No. 29 UT Tyler, No. 35 Midwestern State, Lubbock Christian, No. 26 Angelo State, St. Mary's, and Cameron.

MSU (16-6 overall, 8-2 LSC) earned the second seed behind top seeded No. 29 UT Tyler, with both programs earning a first round bye to the semifinals. The Mustangs finished the season on a four match-winning streak, along with an unbeaten home record (8-0). The Mustangs two conference losses came on the road against UT Tyler (4-3, Apr. 11) and Angelo State (4-3, Mar. 28). Overall in singles matchups, Midwestern State finished 50-10 in conference play, and 22-8 in doubles play in the LSC.
UT Tyler grabbed the top seed in the tournament, finishing 9-1 in conference play and 17-6 overall. Lubbock Christian took the third seed following an 8-2 LSC record and an 11-5 regular season record. The Lady Chaps earned a quarterfinal matchup against sixth seeded Cameron, who finished the season 9-8 and 5-5 in conference. Angelo State drew the fourth seed (19-2, 8-2 LSC), earning a quarterfinal dual against fifth seeded St. Mary's (13-10, 6-4 LSC).
All three stages of the LSC Women's Tennis Championship will be played at the Arlington Tennis Center in Arlington, Texas. The quarterfinal matchups are set for Thursday, April 30, with the winner of ASU/StMU playing UTT, while the winner of LCU/CU will face MSU on Friday, May 1. The winner of the two semifinals will compete for the championship on Saturday, May. 2 at 9 a.m.Â
The winner of the event will be named the LSC Women's Tennis Tournament champion and earn the league's automatic qualification to the 2026 NCAA Division II Championship. The regional selection show is May. 4
