WICHITA FALLS, Texas – For the second time this season, Selin Sepken and Emilia Gyorgy have been named Lone Star Conference Doubles Team of the Week, announced the conference office on Thursday afternoon.

The duo earned the weekly honor after going 2-0 at line two doubles during the a pair of road wins for the Mustangs. The pair began the weekend with a 6-4 victory over Cameron's Adel Ismagulova and Isabella Quintero, during the Mustangs 5-2 victory. The next match, the graduate student and freshman duo beat Gia Posito / Breeze Simon of St. Mary's, 6-1, as the Mustangs sweep the doubles point during a 6-1 victory.
 
Sepken and Gyorgy now shift their win streak to five straight matches, and improve their record at line two to 5-0. Overall, the pair are 14-6 on the season and garner the No. 7 ranking in the newest ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

The No. 35 Mustangs wrap up the regular season at home this weekend. First, MSU will battle Western New Mexico on Friday, Apr. 24 at 10 a.m. The next day, Midwestern State ends the regular season with a home match against Sul Ross State, Saturday, Apr. 25 at 10 a.m.
