WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Bruno Sanchez and Juan David Duque took home Lone Star Conference Doubles Team of the Week, as announced the conference office on Thursday afternoon.

No. 21 Midwestern State finished 1-1 in a pair of road duals against UT Dallas and No. 7 UT Tyler. The Mustangs dispatched the Comets, 7-0, while fighting to a 4-3 defeat against the No. 7 Patriots.

Sanchez and Duque helped the Mustangs win the doubles point in both matches; including clinching the doubles point against No. 7 UT Tyler. The line one pairing garner a No. 17 ranking from the ITA  this season and have now won three duals in a row.
 
Sanchez and Duque beat Benjamin Dubois and Matheus d Zanellato (UTD), 6-3, while each winning their singles matches during the sweep of UT Dallas. In a tightly contested contest against No. 7 UT Tyler, the pair earned a ranked victory over No. 20 Daniil Felker/Carel Wessel, 6-3, to secure the doubles point for the Mustangs.

It is the third time this season that an MSU men's doubles team has been recognized as the LSC Team of the Week. Germano Setti and Matthew Earle were bestowed the honor on March 3, while Sanchez and Cesar Loeches Llamas earned the award March 25.
