WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Camila Garcia and Jasmine Crain were selected as the Lone Star Conference Women's Doubles Team of the Week for the second time this season after winning four consecutive matches in a five-day span, improving their record this season to 11-0.

Garcia and Crain have been a formidable duo at No. 2 doubles for the Mustangs this season. 

They extended their winning streak to eight by defeating Lucia Bontempo and Sofia Kotliarova at Northeastern State, 6-3, on Thursday. 

The following day at MSU Tennis Center, Garcia and Crain posted their ninth consecutive win with a 6-1 pasting of Natalia Alvarez and Kenna Kelley of Harding.

Against McKendree on Saturday, Garcia and Crain defeated Lena Greefs and Keira Greefs, 6-4.

The duo continued their run Monday by dismissing Isabella Spinazze and Julia Zlateva of Hillsdale, 6-1.

Midwestern State has won LSC Women's Doubles Team of the Week three times in six weeks. Garcia and Crain took the honor on March 5. One week earlier, Selin Sepken and Emilia Gyorgy received recognition for their success at No. 1 doubles for the Mustangs.
