WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State Men's Tennis dropped to No. 24 in the newest ITA NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Rankings, announced the organization on Wednesday morning.
Midwestern State faced a tough weekend on the road, with a win over Rockhurst (4-1) sandwiched between losses against Nebraska-Kearney (4-3), and No. 4 Washburn (4-0). The Mustangs were one of three teams from the Lone Star Conference in the top-25, with No. 5 UT Tyler and No. 6 Lubbock Christian joining the Mustangs.
The No. 24 Mustangs stay in the Lone Star State for its next matches, traveling to Tyler, Texas to face three opponents from the Gulf South Conference. MSU start the weekend against West Alabama on Friday, February 27, followed by a matchup with Auburn-Montgomery on Saturday, February 28. Midwestern State wrap up the weekend on Sunday, March 1, facing No. 2 West Florida.
