The home team's defense remained steadfast throughout, with their goalkeeper making six key saves to secure the shutout.
The first half commenced with Midwestern State (2-1-2) taking an early lead as
Jaime Villagomez scored in the 8th minute, assisted by
Skyler Krchnak. The Mustangs maintained an offensive push throughout, recording multiple shot attempts and forcing several corner kicks, with
Liam Pritchard and
Cristopher Guevara also contributing shots on goal. Goalkeeper
