WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State earned the No. 4 seed in Super Region IV and will host No. 5-seed Seattle Pacific in the second round of the NCAA Division II Championship as announced Monday by the men's soccer committee.
The Mustangs and Falcons meet at Stang Park on Saturday at 3 p.m. CST.
The winner of Saturday's match meets either top-seeded Stanislaus State or the winner of the Western Oregon/Hawaii Hilo match. Third round matches are scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 30 at the home of the highest remaining seeds.
Quarterfinal matches are slated for Saturday, Dec. 6, and the four quarterfinal winners move on to the NCAA Division II finals set for Dec. 12-14 at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Midwestern State is making its 12th consecutive NCAA postseason appearance and 20th overall. The Mustangs boast 37 total playoff appearances including 17 as an NAIA member.
