WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State (10-1-6) is No. 5 in the South Central Regional rankings released on Wednesday.
Dallas Baptist (16-1-0), which suffered its only loss at the hands of MSU, is the No. 1 team in the region and is the only LSC school ranked ahead of Midwestern State.
Colorado School of Mines (13-2-3) is ranked No. 2 and is followed by Colorado Mesa (13-1-2), and UCCS (12-2-4).
Texas Woman's (13-2-3), which meets the Mustangs in the semifinals of the LSC Women's Soccer Championship, is ranked No. 6 and is followed by UT Tyler (10-2-5), which faces Dallas Baptist in the other LSC semifinal matchup.
Fort Lewis (11-4-3) is No. 8 in the region.
The NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Selection Announcement is scheduled for Monday at 5:30 p.m.
