WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Midwestern State is back under the dome following a five-game road trip that began with a five-set victory over UT Dallas and concluded with a straight-set triumph over Eastern New Mexico.
Dallas Baptist and Texas Woman's visit the Mustangs, who ended a season-long three-match losing streak with their win on Tuesday night. First serve against the Patriots is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday, and Saturday's match against TWU gets underway at 5:30 p.m.
Midwestern State (14-7, 7-5) is vying for a berth in the Lone Star Conference Postseason Tournament but is in a crowded field in the middle of the LSC standings.
Lubbock Christian and West Texas A&M are at the top of the heap with one loss each. Angelo State is 9-2, and TWU checks in at 8-3. Oklahoma Christian, UT Tyler and St. Mary's are all 7-4 in conference play. Texas A&M-Kingsville, which defeated Midwestern State on its recent road trip, is also 7-5. UT Permian Basin is 6-5. Dallas Baptist is 5-6, and Western New Mexico is 5-7 entering the final two weeks of the regular season.
Midwestern State plays its next four matches at D.L. Ligon Coliseum, and the Mustangs are 8-0 at home this season.
The Mustangs are second in the conference and 11th in the nation with 18.6 digs per set, and
Demi Stauffenberg leads the team with 3.3 digs per set.

Alayna Guerrero and
Sadie Christiansen are all averaging at least 2.8 digs per set.
Guerrero is second in the conference with 10.3 assists per set, while Trinity VInzant,
Isabella Dickens and
Arrianna Fields lead the Stangs in total kills.
Vinzant is averaging 3.2 kills per set, and Dickens is averaging 2.8 kills per set. Fields is third on the team with 2.5 kills per set.
Midwestern State is fifth in the league with a hitting percentage of .225, led by Dickens, who is hitting .305.
Dickens and
Jaiden Wright lead the Mustangs with 52 blocks, and Wright is hitting .256.
Vinzant leads the team and is sixth in the LSC with 3.8 points per set, and Dickens is second on the team with 3.3 points per set.
The Mustangs are averaging 1.7 aces per set, and Vinzant is second in the league with 35 aces this season.
DALLAS BAPTIST (11-8, 5-6)
The Patriots arrive in Wichita Falls with a four-match losing streak following a 3-1 loss to Texas A&M-Kingsville at Burg Center on Tuesday night.
The Patriots, who are 3-4 on the road this season, have lost four straight matches for the first time since 2020.
Junior outside hitter Karly Wells had 16 kills in the loss to the Javelinas and leads the conference with 4.65 kills per set. With a league-leading 335 kills this season, the Fort Worth native has 997 kills for her career. Wells is hitting .236 for the Patriots, who are hitting .209 as a team.
Freshman Paityn Winters leads the team with five assists per set. Junior Madisyn Jones is averaging four assists per set for DBU, which is averaging 12.6 kills per set as a team.
Freshman Blue Anderson leads the team and is 10th in the conference with 3.8 digs per set.
Dallas Baptist is sixth in the conference with 1.9 blocks per set, led by freshman Aizlyn Dewberry's 0.9 blocks per set, which is seventh most in the conference.
Dallas Baptist has won its last four meetings with Midwestern State, all in straight-sets. The Mustangs last win in the series was the programs' first-ever win in the Lone State Conference Postseason Tournament, defeating the Patriots 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-17) at Junell Center in San Angelo.
Jordan Fish is in her fifth season as the head coach and boasts a record of 94-41 (.696) at DBU. Fish was a four-year letter-winner as a setter at Virginia Tech. She finished her career ranked fifth all-time in assists in school history, topping the 2,500-assist milestone.
TEXAS WOMAN'S (15-7, 8-3)
The Pioneers travel to Lubbock Christian before visiting the Mustangs on Saturday evening.
Texas Woman's has a three-match winning streak entering this weekend's action. The Pioneers defeated Texas A&M International at Kitty Magee Arena on Tuesday night, 3-0, for its fifth straight sweep at home. The Pioneers have recorded 10 sweeps this season and have a six-match home winning streak.
The Pioneers are 2-5 in road matches this season and lost their last match as the visiting side at St. Mary's in five sets.
Sydney Garrison is coming off her fourth double-double of the season as she finished with 11 kills and 10 digs against TAMIU.
Janaida Daonowa was in on four of eight blocks for the Pioneers. Benedite Anuman finished with three blocks and hit .545 in the match. TWU hit .234 in the victory and held the Dustdevils to a hitting percentage of .015.
Texas Woman's leads the conference and is sixth among NCAA Division II programs with 2.6 blocks per set, led by Donowa (1.2), Myracie Stockman (0.8) and Trinity Blackwood (0.8)
The Pioneers are third in the league with 18.2 digs per set, and Alyssa Rojo is second in the LSC with 5.1 digs per set.
Kianna Reed leads the team with 6.2 assists per set, and TWU is averaging 12.5 kills per set.

Texas Woman's is hitting .214 for the season and is holding opponents to an attack percentage of .136, which is second-best in the conference.
Midwestern State has won two of its last three meetings with the Pioneers, but TWU leads the all-time series, 37-18. MSU is 14-11 when hosting Texas Woman's, including a five-set victory when the Pioneers last visited in 2022. Last season, Midwestern State defeated TWU, 3-1, at Kitty Magee Arena.
