WICHITA FALLS, Texas --The Midwestern State volleyball team earned a three-set victory (25-13, 25-21, 26-24) against the Adams State Grizzlies Thursday at home at DL Ligon Coliseum.
The non-conference victory improved Mustangs' overall record to 1-0 on the season.
The Mustangs were led by a double-double from Demi Stauffenberg, who registered 10 kills and 10 digs on the day. Riley Rabedeaux also added eight kills to help the attack. On the defensive end, Jenna Redding chipped in for with 13 digs to go with four blocks from Isabella Dickens.

SET 3 | Midwestern State took set three to finish off the match. The Mustangs survived a back-and-forth set to win 26-24 in a stanza that featured five lead changes and was tied 12 times. Neither team opened up a lead of more than four points along the way. The Midwestern State offense also got a boost from three aces in the stanza.
