EDMOND, Okla. -- Midwestern State's Robert Garcia finished off his third consecutive Top 10 finish to help the Mustangs to a seventh-place showing in the Oak Tree Invitational Tuesday at the Oak Tree Country Club.

Garcia had a clean, par-free round working through the first 12 holes, including two of his team-high 11 birdies of the tournament. But the Lewisville, Texas, native took on two bogeys and tripled the par-4, 431-yard 15th hole to finish with a 3-over 73.

Garcia, who fired scores of 73 and 74 on Monday, finished in a tie for fifth with a 10-over, 54-hole total of 220. The senior was coming off of a sixth-place showing last month at the St. Mary's Rattler Invitational and was third at the spring opener at the Houston Classic.

But Midwestern State struggled to a 28-over team total of 308 in the final round and dropped to seventh place in the 17-team field.

Sophomore Seth Bearden (73-74-78) tied for 19th with a 15-over total of 225, while junior Gatlin Goad (75-76-78) placed 35th with a 19-over 229.

Senior Keaton Dickens (75-76-79) tied for 36th with a 20-over 230, and junior Trevor Walsh (78-82-79) tied for 66th with a 29-over 239.

Central Oklahoma carded team totals of 300, 280, and 303 for a 43-over 883 to win the team title by 11 strokes over UT Tyler (894/+54).

UT Tyler senior Seth Campbell fired scores of 69, 73, and 68 for an even-par 210 to win individual medalist honors by four strokes over Oklahoma City's Lorenzo Santinelli (76-67-71) and Central Oklahoma's Jordan Wilson (76-65-73).

The Mustangs host the Midwestern State Invitational Monday and Tuesday at the Wichita Falls Country Club.
