WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State closes out a four-game homestand and makes its final appearance of the season at D.L. Ligon Coliseum as it hosts UT Tyler on Wednesday night. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Midwestern State had a five-match home winning streak come to an end on Saturday as Texas A&M-Kingsville scored a 3-1 victory, led by Ayanna Jackson's 19 kills and five blocks.

The Mustangs are 13-12 overall and 5-7 in the Lone Star Conference this season. Midwestern State is 8-4 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum this season.

Midwestern State is leading the conference and is 22nd in the nation with 38.76 attacks per set, and the Mustangs are hitting .200 for the season.


Isabella Dickens leads the team and is ninth in the conference with a hitting percentage of .329, and Gabrielle Oos is hitting .290 for the Mustangs.

Demi Stauffenberg leads Midwestern State and is 12th in the conference with 9.06 attacks per set, while Riley Rabedeaux is 13th in the league with 9.05.

Rabedeaux is 16th in the league with 3.09 kills per set and is hitting .233 for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs are averaging 12.24 assists per set, led by Alayna Guerrero and Brooke Parker. Guerrero is ninth in the league with 6.87 assists per set, and Parker is 13th in the conference with 5.58 assists per set.

Midwestern State is averaging the sixth-most digs per set in the Lone Star Conference with 16.11. Amy DeWalt is averaging 3.33 digs per set, while Stauffenberg is averaging 2.99, and Jenna Redding is averaging 2.82. All three women are among the top-25 in the LSC.

Saige Rivera is averaging 3.09 assists, and UT Tyler is second in the conference with 13.07 assists per set.

The Patriots are eighth in the league with 15.7 digs per set, led by Addison Evans, who is ninth in the LSC with 4.13 digs per set.

UT Tyler only averages 1.51 blocks per set, which is 12th in the LSC.
