WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State takes on Western New Mexico in the season finale Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

Midwestern State presents its 22nd Annual Military Appreciation as the "Battle of the Mustangs" plays out in front of members of the United States Air Force stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base.
The Mustangs are also set to honor 19 seniors in a pregame ceremony. The seniors include

The Leaderboard
- Midwestern State's four defensive touchdowns are the most in the Lone Star Conference and rank fifth in NCAA Division II.
- MSU kicker
Joseph Carlson leads the LSC and ranks second in NCAA Division II with 1.60 made field goals per game. He also tops to the league and ranks eighth nationally, converting 16 of his 20 field attempts this season with a long of 50 yards.
- Senior safety
Larry Donnell is tied with 13 other players to lead NCAA Division II with three fumble recoveries.
- Junior
Demonte Greene leads the LSC and ranks 12th in NCAA Division II by averaging 12.7 yards per punt return. He has returned 12 punts for 152 yards with a long of 41 yards against Sul Ross State.
The Series
Midwestern State and Western New Mexico meet for the 11th time on the gridiron Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium. MSU holds a 7-3 edge in the series which dates back to 1995 and is 4-1 in games played in Wichita Falls.
