WICHITA FALLS, TX --The Midwestern State volleyball team racked up 53 kills on the way to a three-set victory (25-17, 25-19, 25-16) against the Sul Ross State Lobos Friday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The victory improved the Mustangs' record to 7-8 overall and 1-3 in LSC play.
The Mustangs offense was paced by Riley Rabedeaux, who finished with 16 kills while posting a hitting percentage of .500. Brooke Parker had 10 kills while hitting .389. Demi Stauffenberg had 16 digs in the victory.

SET 2 | After their win in the first set, Midwestern State put themselves on the cusp of a sweep with a 25-19 victory in set number two. The Mustangs never trailed by more than five points and grabbed the advantage for good at 8-7 in a set that had just one lead change before Midwestern State went out in front. The Midwestern State offense also got a boost with three service aces.
SET 3 |Â The Mustangs won the set 25-16 thanks to a strong showing on the attacking side. Midwestern State put together a .389 attack percentage with 20 kills in the set. The Mustangs ended on a strong note, stretching their lead to its largest point in the set to finish out the stanza.
