WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State has won nine consecutive sets at D.L. Ligon Coliseum and is back under the dome for its final non-conference match of the season on Tuesday night as East Central visits for a 7 p.m. match.
Midwestern State extended a season-long winning streak to four matches with a four-set victory at Cameron on Friday night before falling to Oklahoma Christian in straight sets at Payne Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon.
The Mustangs are 11-11 overall this season with a 4-6 record in the Lone Star Conference. MSU has a three-match winning streak at home and is 6-3 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum this season.
Midwestern State head coach
Stephanie Radecki is one victory shy of 400 career wins as a collegiate head coach. Radecki, who is in her 22nd season as a head coach, holds a career record of 399-297. In her third season at Midwestern State, Radecki has led the Mustangs to their most wins since finishing the 2017 campaign with an overall record of 15-16.
Midwestern State is leading the conference and is 16th in the nation with 39.09 attacks per set, but the Mustangs are hitting .193 for the season. However, the Stang Gang has hit .204 or better in each of its last five matches.
Isabella Dickens leads the team and is 11th in the conference with a hitting percentage of .327, and
Gabrielle Oos is hitting .267 for the Mustangs.
Riley Rabedeaux leads Midwestern State and is 10th in the conference with 9.25 attacks per set, while
Demi Stauffenberg is 13th in the league with 9.06.
Rabedeaux is 13th in the league with 3.20 kills per set and is hitting .236 for the Mustangs.
The Mustangs are averaging 12.08 assists per set, led by
Alayna Guerrero and

The Mustangs only victory in the series came at home in September of 2009. MSU prevailed in five sets, 25-22, 21-25, 20-25, 25-20, 15-7. Emily Holombek had 17 kills and three aces in the triumph.
East Central is 14-10 overall this season with an 8-3 record in the Great American Conference. The Tigers are coming off back-to-back wins over Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello. East Central has lost its last two road matches and is 5-6 as the visiting team this season.
East Central is led by senior outside hitter Odalys Gonzalez, who is averaging 4.03 points per set and 3.44 kills per set. Ashleigh Miller, a senior middle blocker, is hitting .276 for the Tigers, who are hitting .186 as a team. Opponents are hitting .192 against East Central this season.
Julia Kabala leads East Central with 9.68 assists per set and is second in the GAC with 35 total aces this season.
Miller is leading the Tigers with 70 blocks this season and 0.82 blocks per set. Angel Nahinu is second on the team with 60 blocks and 0.76 blocks per set. East Central averages 1.88 blocks per set as a team.
