ALPINE, Texas -- No. 12-ranked Midwestern State got a pair of goals from Samuele Muroni in a 2-0 shutout victory against Sul Ross St. Saturday afternoon at Lobo Soccer Field.
The Mustangs improved to 9-1-3 overall and 4-1-1 in Lone Star Conference action after the win.

Midwestern State opened the scoring when Muroni scored his sixth goal of the season in the 64th minute, assisted by Cooper Tea and Mere Escobar.
