WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Only one point separates Midwestern State and St. Mary's in the Lone Star Conference standings as the two sides prepare to meet Saturday morning at Stang Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m.

The Mustangs are one of three unbeaten teams in conference play and lead the league with 11 points through five matches. Following a comprehensive 6-1 victory at Eastern New Mexico on Wednesday night, MSU is 3-0-2 in conference play with a 7-1-2 record overall.

St. Mary's is coming off a 1-0 victory over St. Edward's and boasts a 3-1-1 record in the LSC with an overall record of 5-3-2.

MSU is 3-2-2 when hosting St. Mary's, but the Rattlers earned a 4-3 victory in their last visit two years ago, when the Rattlers scored three goals in the second half.

St. Mary's has won three of the last four meetings and the all-time series is even at 7-7-2. Last season in San Antonio, Love' Tovar and Shelby Paniagua scored goals in the first half, and the Rattlers held on for a 2-1 victory. Allessandra Romano scored her first collegiate goal in the 87th minute for Midwestern State.

The Rattlers are unbeaten in six of their last seven matches overall and are 2-2-0 on the road this season. In the "Battle of the Saints," Alexis Truitt struck from 25 yards out, and St. Mary's defeated St. Edward's, 1-0, at Sigma Beta Chi Field on Wednesday.
