LAST MEETING | Midwestern State withstood two excellent chances from Oklahoma Christian freshman forward Kyla Lovelace to escape Oklahoma City with a 0-0 draw last season at Eagle Soccer Field. Lovelace hit the crossbar in the 107th minute and was unable to put a free kick from the top of the box on frame in the closing seconds of the second overtime.
Taylor Camp made four saves in the draw for MSU, which extended its unbeaten streak to six matches.
LAST TIME OUT | St. Edward's struck for a goal in the first half, then held off Midwestern State for a 1-0 win in Lone Star Conference play Saturday afternoon at Lewis-Chen Family Field. SEU senior Maryanne Crowe won a ball just off of the goal line on the right and slotted a pass to unmarked freshman Elena Ramos Banet in the 11th minute. Banet tucked a shot just inside the far post for the only goal of the match. Midwestern State and St. Edward's played on even terms statistically as the Hilltoppers held a 13-12 edge in shots and a 6-4 advantage in corner kick opportunities.
