WICHITA FALLS, Texas - - Midwestern State looks to extend its three-match winning streak as it hosts St. Mary's at Stang Park for an LSC showdown Saturday at 3 p.m.
The Mustangs have won three of their last four meetings with the Rattlers, who make their first visit to Stang Park since the 2009 season opener.

Emma Baley sent the ball in with a corner kick, and the Mustangs prevailed at Sigma Beta Chi Field in San Antonio, 1-0. It was only the second corner kick of the match for MSU. St. Mary's took nine corner kicks. The Rattlers outshot Midwestern State, 21-16, with six shots on goal. The Mustangs had five shots on goal.
LAST TIME OUT | Cassidy Savoy scored twice in the second half, and Midwestern State won its LSC opener on the road at Eastern New Mexico, 3-0.
Brynn Covington scored a goal in her third straight match to give MSU the lead in the 44th minute. Savoy and Covington each have three goals this season.
Lexi Beck assisted on the Savoy goal in the 51st minute and has at least one assist in each of her last three matches.
Jadyn Lopez notched her first assist of the season in the victory. Goalkeeper Lexy Jackson made one save for the win.
