LAST MEETING | Jermane Carter scored 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting and connected on three 3-pointers. He also pulled down eight rebounds, blocked two shots and had two steals as Midwestern State dominated the paint in a 79-55 triumph at D.L. Ligon Coliseum last season. Pierre Sanders poured in 11 points, dished out five assists and pulled down four rebounds for the Mustangs. John Weger dealt out a career-high 10 assists in the victory.

LAST TIME OUT | Midwestern State took an early 7-0 lead and never trailed en route to a 74-61 victory over St. Mary's at D.L. Ligon Coliseum on Monday night. Senior forward Jermane Carter recorded his sixth career double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Mustangs, who ended a three-game slide and snapped the Rattlers' four-game winning streak. Midwestern State hit 15 of 29 shots (51.7 percent) from the floor in the first half and led at intermission, 38-24.
