WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Sadie Portmann registered a match-high 15 kills to lead Midwestern State to a 25-16, 25-20, 13-25, 25-17 win over Oklahoma Christian on Senior Day Saturday afternoon at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

But the hometown freshman had plenty of help from her seniors as the Mustangs erupted for a season-best .323 team attack percentage to close the year on a high note.

Senior Taylor Anderson put down seven kills on her first eight swings on her way to her third consecutive double-figure kill performance finishing with 14.

Fifth-year senior Aaliyah Burras continued her late season roll finishing with 10 kills on 15 attacks while committing just two errors for a .533 hitting percentage. She finished at least 10 kills in six of her final seven matches while hitting .497.

Burras added seven kills and four blocks.

Seniors Kaitlynn Stoker (five) and Kaycie Shannon (two) combined for seven kills, freshman Taygon Jones led back row efforts with 18 digs.
