LAST MEETING | Dallas Baptist scored three goals in the first 34 minutes and defeated Midwestern State at Stang Park last season, 4-2. Ashley Merrill had a goal and an assist in the win for the Patriots.

LAST TIME OUT | UT Permian Basin struck first in the 10th minute as freshman Cassandra Ramirez hustled down the left touch line and turn the corner on a defender. She planted a scored on a shot to the near post for her third goal of the season. Despite controlling possession, Midwestern State struggled to find scoring chances through opening 60 minutes of the match. Marissa Resendez scored the go-ahead goal burying her first goal of the season off of the far post from 20 yards out off of a
Jozy Bardsley which was redirected by
Desiree Morgas in the 76th minute. Bardsley capped the scoring by finishing a through ball down the center of the field from
Olivia Okoye in the 85th minute for her first goal of the season.
