Savoy and Emilia Nunez had assists in the victory for MSU…Yareli Barrera scored the only goal, and goalkeeper Jenna McEnaney made eight saves for the Falcons.

LAST TIME OUT | Sophomore Lexi Beck scored her first goal of the season to help Midwestern State earn a 1-1 draw against Texas A&M International Saturday afternoon at Dustdevil Field. Beck's opportunity resulted off of a corner kick in the 57th minute. Senior Senna Garcia's serve into the box was cleared to the right attack channel and collected by sophomore forward Isabella Cruz. Cruz cross the ball back into the area which was headed down by a Dustdevil defender right t to Beck's feet. Beck lobbed a chip over the goalkeepers head high into left corner of the net for the equalizer. Texas A&M International controlled the run of play in the opening half with a 7-3 edge in shots. The Dustdevils scored the opener on Andrea Castellanos' corner kick serve to the far post which was headed in by Marta Forne in the 26th minute of the opening half. Goalkeeper Lexi Jackson made a season-high eight saves and faced 15 shots.
