Angelo State visits Stang Park for regular season finale, kickoff moved to Saturday at 11 a.m.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas --  Midwestern State is home for the regular season finale and needs a point against Angelo State to assure itself a berth in the LSC Postseason Tournament. Kickoff at Stang Park is set for Saturday at 11 a.m.

LAST MEETING | Kelly Cannistra scored the game-winning goal in the final minute of overtime, and the Mustangs prevailed at ASU Soccer Field in the regular season finale last year, 2-1. Cannistra put the Mustangs in front with a goal just before the one-hour mark. Isabella Cruz registered the assist. The lead held up for nearly 14 minutes, but Grace Jordan scored her fifth goal of the season for the Rambelles to tie the match, 1-1. Goalkeeper Lauren Freeman made six saves in the victory for MSU.

LAST TIME OUT | Midwestern State erupted with a season-high five-goal outburst, and sophomore goalkeeper Lexi Jackson made five saves to log her fourth clean sheet of the season. MSU coasted to a 5-0 victory over Texas Woman's and moved up the table in the LSC. Olivia Okoye and Lexi Beck each had a goal and an assist in the victory at Pioneer Soccer Park for the Mustangs.
