WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State shot 55.3 percent from the field and buried 12 3-pointers on the way to a 68-65 win over UT Tyler Saturday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

The win snapped a three-game slide for the Mustangs, who improved to 5-19 on the season and moved to 5-13 in Lone Star Conference play.

It was the Mustangs' fourth game this season of shooting 50 percent. MSU extended its run of at least 10 made 3-pointers to seven consecutive games.

Senior guard D'monta Harris drilled a team-high four 3-pointers to lead the way with 16 points, while fellow senior Darius Thompson knocked down two 3-pointers to net 13 points.
