NORMAN, Okla. – No. 15 Midwestern State battles Oklahoma Baptist on Friday night. Match time is 5 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
The Mustangs have never lost to Oklahoma Baptist, compiling a 3-0 mark in a series that dates back to 2003. Last season, MSU Texas grinded out a 4-3 win in Wichita Falls. 

TERRIFIC TANDEM
The duo of Juliette Mary and Emilija Segetlija improved to 4-0 on the season with a 6-0 win at No. 3 on Thursday against Cowley County Community College.

20/20 VISIC
Emilija Visic is off to a 3-0 start in singles play. The freshman, who has occupied the No. 4 line this season, is the only MSU Texas singles player with an unblemished record (minimum two matches played).

STRONG STARTS
The Maroon and Gold are off to a 3-1 start this season, making it the fourth time in five years the Mustangs have won three of their first four matches to begin a season.

SCOUTING THE BISON
Oklahoma Baptist opened the season on February 8 with a 7-0 victory over Texas A&M-Texarkana. All six singles players for the Bison earned straight set wins with five of the matches finishing 6-0, 6-0. Likely No. 1 singles player Kim Moosbacher is ranked No. 9 in the country and No. 1 in the Central Region. At doubles, the tandem of Mossbacher and Ethne Dowling is ranked No. 8 in the region.
 
CATCHING UP WITH COACH LINN
Scott Linn enters his 10th season at the helm of the Midwestern State men's and women's tennis teams. Since arriving in the fall of 2010, Linn coached teams have made 15 total NCAA Tournament appearances.
