DURANGO, Colorado -- After opening the season with an exciting overtime win, Midwestern State is back on the pitch on Sunday afternoon in a clash against Fort Lewis. Match time is set for 2 p.m. Central Time from Dirks Field. 
 
SERIES HISTORY
This is the 12^th meeting between the two programs and the series is tied, 4-4-3. In the last meeting on September 2, 2018, the Mustangs came away with a 2-2 draw. 
 
CLUTCH CANNISTRA
Kelly Cannistra's 97^th minute strike found the back of the net on Friday afternoon to lift the Mustangs to a thrilling 3-2 overtime win in the season opener. The junior midfielder also picked up an assist.

MONEY MORLOCK
A first-team All Lone Star Conference performer in 2018, Imani Morlock kicked off the new campaign in style, registering two assists. 
 
SPENDING TIME WITH SPENCE
Ryan Spence opened his second season as the Head Coach of the Midwestern State Women's Soccer team with a 3-2 overtime win over New Mexico Highlands. In his first year in charge, the Mustangs finished 2-13-3 and 1-9-2 in Lone Star Conference action, earning a trip to the quarterfinals in the LSC Postseason Tournament.
 
SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS
Fort Lewis opened the season on Friday afternoon with a 3-0 loss to Angelo State. The Skyhawks conceded all three goals in the first half. Fort Lewis finished 6-9-2 in 2018.
