WICHITA FALLS, Texas – No. 21 Midwestern State registered its second-straight 7-0 win, taking down Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday at the MSU Tennis Center. The Mustangs locked up their fifth-straight win to improve to 15-3 on the season.
 
MSU won the doubles competition for the third-straight match and 14th time this season, racing out to an early 1-0 lead.
 
The duo of Angel Palacios and Denney Norrie swept Nick Parker and Carlos Felgueroso, 6-0, at the No. 3 flight to start the day and improving to 10-4 on the year.
 
Nolan McCaig and Dillon Pineda clinched the point seconds later, rolling Andres Graterol and Matias LeFort, 6-2, at the No. 2 flight. The tandem of McCaig and Pineda won their fifth-straight to climb to 11-3.
 
The No. 15-ranked pair of Alberto Diaz and Ben Westwick downed 39^th-ranked Gianluca Galdi and Kevin Andrusch, 6-3, at the No. 1 flight to complete the sweep.
 
MSU continued to cruise in singles with straight-set wins on all six courts.
 
Pineda and McCaig collected back-to-back wins at the Nos. 3 & 4 flights against LeFort (6-1, 6-0) and Graterol (6-3, 6-2) to push the Mustangs lead to 3-0.
 
Second-ranked Palacios clinched the winner with a rout of 48^th-ranked Andrusch, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 1. The junior improves to 16-2 this spring, all at the No. 1 line, with eight wins over nationally ranked opponents.
 
MSU kept its foot on the throttle despite having secured the win for its second-straight sweep.
 
Sophomore Alex Martinez Roca moved to 38-6 all-time in singles, topping Galdi, 6-3, 6-2, at the No. 2 line for his eighth-straight win.
 
Westwick nabbed his fifth-consecutive singles victory, besting Parker, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 6 before Diaz took down Rhett Rollins, 6-4, 6-3, at No. 5 to close out the sweep.
