Last Time Out
MSU Texas suffered a 5-2 setback to Northwest Missouri State at home on Sunday after a whirlwind road trip.

Linn Nears Win No. 300 in the Maroon and Gold
Scott Linn enters his ninth season at the helm of the men's and women's tennis programs, needing eight wins for his 300th overall win at MSU. The East Central graduate has posted a 292-129 (.694) combined record with the Mustangs, including a 151-65 (.699) mark with the women's program. He needs 215 wins to match Larry Wiggins (1995-2010) program record of 507.

Midwestern State Approaches 500th Program Win
Midwestern State is six wins away from its 500th win in program history. The Mustangs 494-331-3 (.598) would become the seventh MSU program to eclipse the 500 win plateau.

Mustangs Up to No. 29 in ITA Poll
Midwestern State climbed four spots to No. 29 in the Oracle/ITA national team rankings after wins against UT Tyler, second-ranked (NJCAA) Tyler JC and 17th-ranked Southwest Baptist to improve to 8-3 on the year.

Senior Maddy Coffman jumped up six spots to No. 7 with a 6-3 record at the top flight.  The Flower Mound native bested 19th-ranked Jill Van Den Dungen of Southwest Baptist (7-5, 7-6 (3)) on Saturday for her fourth win against a nationally ranked foe.

The All-American duo of junior Ashley Ramirez and Coffman fell five spots to No. 15 after a 1-3 week. The pair sits at 3-3 at the No. 1 flight.

Lazzarotto Goes For Doubles Record
Senior Greta Lazzarotto is one win away from breaking Brooke Gray's (2000-03) program record of 78 wins. The senior boasts a 78-15 career mark in doubles, including a 38-10 mark at the No. 2 flight.

Lazzarotto tied the record on Sunday against NWMSU and breaks the record with her next victory.

Lazzarotto is 11 combined wins away from passing Lacey Wuthrich (2002-05) for the most all time at 138.

The Italian moved into ninth all-time with her 50th-career singles win. She needs 14 singles wins to match Wuthrich for the most all-time.
